Godby Hearth & Home is hiring an experienced full-time Custom Glass Installer. We're looking for someone who already knows the trade and can step in and do quality work with minimal hand-holding. This is steady, year-round work with strong benefits, optional overtime in the busy season, and a close-knit team of fewer than 30 people who actually like working together.

The basics

• Pay: Starting at $25/hr, with room to grow based on experience
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–5:00 PM (about 45 hrs/week), with optional weekend overtime
• Location: Indianapolis, IN
• Type: Full-time, year-round

What you'll do

• Install custom shower glass, mirrors, and door hardware in new and existing homes
• Troubleshoot and repair shower door enclosures
• Install bathroom fixtures and hardware
• Read and interpret construction blueprints and documentation
• Follow OSHA and company safety guidelines
• Use hand and power tools proficiently
• Lift up to 75 lbs on your own, and 200+ lbs as part of a team

What we're looking for

• 2+ years of glass installation experience
• Hands-on experience with glass, shower door, or mirror installation (or closely related skilled trade)
• Confident reading and interpreting construction blueprints and documentation
• Proficient with hand and power tools
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Someone who takes ownership, solves problems as they come up, and takes pride in their work
• A reliable team player who shows up and holds themselves accountable
